Who We Are and How We Work

Who is Jardinessent?

Jardinessent is operated by Style Stash LLC, based in Glendale, Colorado. We are a retail business. We do not manufacture our own tools.

We source cordless drills and power tools from verified supply partners, review them before listing, and sell them directly to homeowners across the United States. Our job is to find tools that are worth buying for home use, describe them honestly, and stand behind them with a real warranty and a real return policy.

We started because the options felt too binary: tools priced for contractors that most homeowners do not need, and tools cheap enough to break in the first project. We wanted something in between.

Are you the manufacturer of these tools?

No. We are a retailer. We source tools from verified supply partners, review them before listing, and sell them directly to customers. We do not design or produce the tools ourselves.

Every product listing reflects what the tool actually does for home use. We do not oversell capability or hide known limitations.

How do you choose which products to sell?

We review each product before listing it. Our process includes:

  • Requesting sample units from supply partners before listing
  • Checking weight, grip comfort, and how the tool feels in use
  • Confirming that what is in the box matches what is described
  • Reviewing real customer feedback on comparable products to understand common complaints
  • Checking that battery life, torque ratings, and speed claims reflect actual home-use performance

If something does not hold up, we do not list it. Our catalog is small by design. We would rather carry fewer tools we can stand behind than a long list of options we cannot.

Why is your catalog so small?

By choice. We review every product before listing it. A small catalog means every product has been evaluated, not just sourced and uploaded.

We decided not to list certain products when battery performance did not match the rated capacity under normal home conditions, when the clutch range was too narrow to be useful across different materials, or when listed accessories were not actually included in standard shipments.

Choosing the Right Tool

What cordless drill do I need for basic home tasks?

For most first-time homeowners, a 20V cordless drill and driver combo covers the majority of everyday tasks: hanging shelves, assembling furniture, drilling small holes, and driving screws into wood and drywall.

You do not need a heavy or complicated tool. A compact 20V model with variable speed and a reliable torque clutch is easy to use and easy to store. If you are not sure, email us with what you are working on and we will point you to the right model.

What is the difference between a drill and an impact driver?

A drill drills holes and drives screws into wood, drywall, and plastic. It is good for hanging items, assembling furniture, and working on delicate surfaces.

An impact driver delivers rotational force in short, powerful bursts. This makes it better at driving long or large screws without stripping the head. It is louder and less precise, but handles stubborn fasteners more easily.

For most home projects like installing fixtures or hanging items, a standard drill is the better starting point. If you are building a deck, fence, or installing subfloor, an impact driver saves a lot of effort.

Are these tools suitable for someone who has never used a power drill before?

Yes. Our drills include variable speed triggers, adjustable torque settings, and a comfortable grip, which reduces the chance of overtightening or stripping screws.

If you can tighten a screw by hand, you can use these tools. The learning curve is short for basic tasks. We recommend starting with a small practice piece of wood before working on your actual project.

Can I use these tools for professional or commercial work?

Our tools are designed and priced for home and light DIY use. They handle occasional home improvement projects well.

If you are a contractor or plan to use a drill every day on heavy commercial jobs, we would honestly suggest looking at professional-grade brands built for that level of daily use. We would rather give you an honest answer than have you buy something that does not fit your situation.

How do I choose the right drill for my specific project?

The material you are working with makes the biggest difference:

  • Wood and drywall: Any of our 20V drill sets works. Choose by kit size based on how many bits and accessories you need. Set the torque low enough that you do not punch through the surface.
  • Masonry or concrete: A standard 20V drill works with a proper masonry bit at slow speed.
  • Metal: Use slow speed and a proper metal-rated bit. High-speed drilling generates heat and dulls bits quickly.

If you are not sure, email us with a description of your project and we will help narrow it down.

Using Your Tools

How do I avoid stripping screws when using a power drill?

The most common cause is using the wrong bit size or setting the torque too high. Match your bit to the screw head exactly. A loose fit strips the head quickly.

Set your drill clutch to a lower torque setting and increase only if needed. Drive at a moderate speed and stop as soon as the screw is flush. With a little practice this becomes second nature.

How do I safely store a cordless drill with a lithium-ion battery?

Store your drill in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. A charge level of 40 to 60 percent is ideal for long-term storage. Do not store near flammable materials.

If the battery looks swollen, leaking, or damaged, stop using it immediately and contact us at support@jardinessent.com before attempting to return or dispose of it. There are specific safety guidelines for lithium-ion battery handling.

Orders and Shipping

How long does shipping take?

Orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days. Standard shipping within the contiguous United States takes 5 to 7 business days after processing. Total estimated delivery time is 6 to 10 business days.

We ship to the contiguous United States only. We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Guam, or APO/FPO addresses at this time.

Is shipping free?

Yes. Standard shipping is free on all orders. There is no minimum purchase amount required. The price you see at checkout is the final price with no shipping fees added.

How do I track my order?

Once your order ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with your tracking number, carrier name, and a direct link to track your package. Please allow up to 24 hours after that email for tracking to update on the carrier website.

If you have not received tracking details within 48 hours of your processing window, contact us at support@jardinessent.com with your order number.

Can I cancel or change my order after placing it?

You can cancel your order within 12 hours of placing it by emailing support@jardinessent.com with your order number. Once an order has been processed or shipped, it cannot be changed or canceled.

At that point, please refer to our Return and Refund Policy for next steps.

What should I do if my package shows as delivered but I did not receive it?

Check around your property and with neighbors first. Carriers occasionally leave packages in unexpected spots.

If the package appears genuinely lost, contact us within 7 days of the expected delivery date at support@jardinessent.com. We will work with the carrier to investigate and find a solution.

Payment

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept PayPal. Through your PayPal account, you can pay using your PayPal balance, a linked bank account, or an eligible credit or debit card including Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. All transactions are in U.S. Dollars (USD).

Do you charge sales tax?

We do not charge sales tax at checkout. The price displayed on the product page is your final purchase price. There are no hidden fees or surprise charges added at checkout.

Returns, Warranty and Support

What is your return policy?

We accept returns within 30 days of delivery. Items must be unused and in their original condition with all original packaging and accessories. We also accept change-of-mind returns within the same 30-day window.

If the item arrived defective or we sent the wrong product, we cover return shipping. For change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. Approved refunds are processed within 3 to 5 business days of receiving the item. See our full Return and Refund Policy.

What do I do if my tool arrives damaged or defective?

Contact us within 7 days of delivery at support@jardinessent.com. Include your order number, a description of the issue, and photos or a short video showing the problem.

We will offer either a free replacement or a full refund including any original shipping costs. You will not be asked to pay anything to resolve a product that arrived broken or incorrect.

Do your products come with a warranty?

Yes. Every power tool sold on jardinessent.com includes a 1-Year Limited Warranty covering manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship under normal household use. The warranty period begins on your delivery date.

It covers the main tool unit, battery, and charger but not consumable accessories like drill bits or damage from misuse. No registration required. Your order confirmation email is your proof of purchase. See our full Warranty Policy.

Do your tools include batteries and chargers in the box?

This varies by product. Each product listing clearly states exactly what is included: battery, charger, bits, and any accessories. We do not list tools that require a separate battery purchase without making that clearly visible before checkout.

If you are unsure, check the product description or contact us before ordering.

Do you offer exchanges?

We do not offer direct exchanges at this time. If you would like a different model, please follow the return process for the original item and place a new order for the correct product once your refund is processed.

If you are not sure which product is the right fit, email us before placing the new order and we will help you choose. See our Return and Refund Policy for the full return process.
